The first time I saw little Leah was the day she was born. When I took the pictures of her she was a month old and I was amazed by how quickly she had grown. The shoot went really well, between nappy cahnges and feeding, but but when Leah decided she had enough we called it a day.
By the time Charmain and I both had a time, and date, to do the shoot little Leah was almost due. We made a lot of fun and jokes about it but we had no idea that Leah would be making her entrance into the world the very next day!! We're just glad she gave us a little time to take pictures of her proud mommy (while still pregnant)!!
These images formed part of my final portfolio when I was still studying. I wish I could go back to some of the locations because I had a lot of fun!!!
Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure. ~ Tony Benn
Born in Pretoria and raised in the Northern Cape it is not hard to believe that I wanted to see what more this beautiful country of ours had to offer. So, I ended up in Cape Town. Here I lost my heart on the beauty of it all and on photography. Today, I am still here, going for my fourth year, and loving every step of the way.
